Ashgrove is building a future on renewable energy systems

ASHGROVE Engineering was setup in 2001 by Shane Murphy, who had a track record in renewablee energy systems since 1994.

Ashgrove delivers a variety of systems for homes and businesses to cut down on energy usage, helping to not just save money but also saving the environment. The supply team and at Ashgrove install heating design, etsystems both domestic and commercial projects, ranging from healthcare buildings, industry, office and apartment buildings and agricultural projects. They work with plumbers, engineers, BER assessors, quantity surveyors, developers and other professionals within the construction sector on a daily basis.

And with the construction industry on the rise again they are busy locally and throughout the country as well as in the UK. Ashgrove is the sole distributor of Thermia Heat Pumps in Ireland and the UK. Thermia are one of the leading heat pumps manufactures on the market.

Ashgrove also offers a full consultation and design service. They have a strong network of local installers who have been fully trained, as they find that people like the security of having a reputable local plumber carrying out their work.

Ashgrove now has 18 employees. “The majority of our workforce has come from the local area and we are blessed to have their loyalty,” added Shane.

While the business continues to grow Shane is determined to maintain the core values of a family-run business that is customer and community focussed.
