QQI Management course for Newmarket
A QQI Level Six Supervisory Management course is set to continue at the IRD Duhallow over the coming weeks.
The course will take place on Tuesdays over the course of the next two and a half months from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, scheduled for IRD Duhallow, James O’Keeffe Institute. It has been set for €450. The purpose of this QQI Level 6 award is to equip the learner with the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to work in a range of industry sectors independently in a supervisory capacity.
This module is designed to equip learners with essential knowledge to strengthen and develop their supervisory management skills. It is aimed at those who are currently employed at supervisory level or those wishing to progress to this level. This module aims to promote good practice in planning, managing and delivering a quality service.
The course has a number of aims such as practising effective supervisory management skills; making strategic, objective and timely decisions based on analyses of all relevant available information; appreciation of the importance of developing quality systems and standards within an organisation; developing a customer-oriented quality service consistent with best practice and standards; appreciate the importance of effective communication with all stakeholders in the organisation; and planning for and responding to the changing environments in a particular employment sector.
