THE Irish Restaurants Awards are among the most prestigious accolades any restaurant or cafe in Ireland can aspire to and are a true mark of excellence in the trade.
The rigorous process behind the Irish Restaurant Awards makes it the most coveted and credible restaurant awards in the country.
In 2017 Café Aroma was nominated for an Irish Restaurants Award in the Munster section and while an outright accolade wasn’t to be this was a resounding recognition of the quality and service on offer at Café Aroma.
However, what particularly pleased proprietor Noreen was that the nomination for Café Aroma came from a strong vote of confidence, and satisfaction, from their customers. “Being nominated for such a prestigious award was a great affirmation of Café Aroma but the fact that the nomination actually came from our customers was truly fantastic, and great feedback on the effort we put in,” said Noreen.
“We are truly grateful to all our customers, from near and far; not just for the award nomination but for supporting and returning to Café Aroma week in, week out, year after year,” Noreen added.
As part of the judging process for the awards, judges visited Café Aroma to assess the outlet – without passing this vital assessment with distinction Aroma would not have made it to the Munster final. And remember, they were up against the best from all across Munster.
