JAMES LOONEY R.I.P.

THE death took place at Mallow General Hospital on Wednesday, June 20 of James Looney of Dromore Drive and formerly of Cullen.

James is predecease­d by his sister Bridie and survived by his wife, Siobhan, sisters Eileen and Joan, relatives, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Friday, June 22 at 2pm followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

ELLEN (Nellie) CREMIN R.I.P.

THE death took place at the Mercy University Hospital in Cork on Thursday, June 21 of Ellen (Nellie) Cremin.

From Carrigduff and formerly of Ballyhoole­y Road, Cork, Ellen is survived by her sister, Sr. Hannah (Convent Of Mercy, Mallow), brother Jerry, relatives and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on at 12noon on Monday, June 25 followed by burial in Bweeng Cemetery.

EILEEN LEAHY R.I.P.

THE death took place at Bridhaven Nursing Home of Eileen Leahy (nèe Nunan) on Wednesday, June 27. From Shortcastl­e Eileen is predecease­d by her husband Thomas and survived by her son Gerald, daughters Elaine ( Woodall, U.S.A.) and Elizabeth (Thompson), relations and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated St. Mary’s Church on Saturday June 30 at 2.30pm followed by burial in St. Gobnaits Cemetery.
