Great day out at Liz Lucey Memorial Run

WITH something for every interest to enjoy, at the annual Liz Lucey Memorial Vintage Run, the event attracted a large attendance last Sunday and was hailed as a very successful day.

The Liz Lucey Memorial Vintage Run, Walk and Cycle, last weekend, incorporates a vintage run which attracted some wonderful vintage vehicles, which travelled around the region taking in the wonderful scenery. A cycling and walking event, for those looking for something different to do, also took place on the day. Cyclists had the choice of three routes and Valley Wheelers Cycling Club also came and supported the fun day out.

Funds from all three events were in aid of Marymount Hospice in memory of local woman, Liz Lucey, who passed away in 2009.

Nine years later this is a key community event and once again it was an enjoyable day out for all the family.
