North Cork’s musical youth star in Cork ETB showcase
WHILE the cold snap forced the cancellation of the Cork ETB School of Music Concert on January 29, young musicians assembled with renewed enthusiasm at St. James’ Church in Mallow last Monday evening for the rescheduled event.
Students representing the North Cork centres played their hearts out to a full house audience and the concert showcased a diverse array of talent with soloists and ensembles providing entertainment of an exceptionally high calibre throughout the evening.
Families, friends, teachers and music lovers were vocal in their praise of the young musicians who expand on their repertoire year on year.
The Cork ETB School of Music is one of Ireland’s most dynamic multi-campus schools with in excess of 3,000 students enrolled from throughout the county.
