LOCAL SUCCESSES IN UNDERAGE FINAL

Two Kilcorney players were involved in two North Cork Championship underage finals held at Bweeng. David O Riordan had a last shot win over Ian Coleman in the u-12 Final. O Riordan got off to a flying start with a great opening shot to rise a bowl of odds. However Coleman with a great second throw, knocked the bowl. O Riordan with his third throw, rose the bowl again. The score revolved around the bowl of odds in the following exchanges. A brilliant second last shot by Coleman knocked the bowl of odds again. However the Kilcorney man held sway to take the verdict in the last shot

In the u-14 final - John Dennehy had a last shot win over Shane Kelleher. This was a very good score from start to finish, with little between the tips at any stage. This score went to the wire, with Dennehy recording a last shot win over the Kilcorney man.
