The Apprentice

24 Hours In A&E

9PM, CH4 A new run of the documentary series following the busy, demanding life of the A&E department of London’s King’s College Hospital. With cases ranging from the trivial to the deadly serious, it’s by turns heartwarming, heartbreaking, touching and funny.

10PM, SONY TV Here’s a chance to see the slick, high-speed, strikingly unpredictable British spy drama from the first episode. It gets off to a confident start, building up to the kind of nail-biting climax that became its trademark.

BBC Young Musician 2012 Sunday, 6pm, BBC2

Ireland’s Beauty Queens

There, he issues them with their latest challenge – to market English sparkling wine. This is a rather more sedate affair than the Britain’s Got Talent final, but no less compelling – and the standard of musicianship on display in this contest for young performers is really quite astonishing. Watch and wonder. here are out of work and unsure of what their futures will hold.
