9PM, GOLD Rev is well-cast, sharply writ­ten, orig­i­nal and very funny. Here’s a chance to catch it from the begin­ning, as the Rev Adam Small­bone (Tom Hol­lan­der) is over­whelmed by the num­ber of new con­gre­gants, thanks to a ru­moured re­port on the church school.


10PM, TG4 The postman on his bi­cy­cle was a com­mon sight in ru­ral Ire­land not so many years ago. But the bike has largely been re­placed by the van in more re­cent times. Here, we meet Sea­mus Mul­li­gan, a Done­gal postman who still trav­els his 30-mile route on a bi­cy­cle.

The Se­cret His­tory Of Our Streets

9PM, CH4 An­other com­pelling, but har­row­ing, edi­tion fo­cuses on a sin­gle Satur­day night shift, with con­sul­tant Emer and se­nior sis­ter Jen run­ning the re­sus area. Af­ter a steady stream of drink and drug ca­su­al­ties, their last pa­tient is a stab­bing vic­tim – com­plete with knife.

10.30PM, CH4 Af­ter last week’s shock end­ing, this new episode opens with Sarah in a locked ward – and it’s soon re­vealed that this is not her first stint in a psy­chi­atric unit. The in­ves­ti­ga­tion is clearly tak­ing its toll, but she still begs Holder to get her out – and back on the Larsen case. sports­men Rio Fer­di­nand and Fred­die Flintoff, plus en­ter­tain­ers Mar­tine Mc­Cutcheon and Una Healy – in the hopes of win­ning £100,000.

Dy­namo: Ma­gi­cian Im­pos­si­ble

9PM, WATCH Dy­namo – whose tricks have in­cluded walk­ing on wa­ter and lev­i­tat­ing Matt Lu­cas – re­turns with a sec­ond se­ries of jaw-drop­ping il­lu­sions. His fan­base is grow­ing world­wide; here, he per­forms in Lon­don, Venice and Las Ve­gas.
