EVER MOOD YOU’RE IN

The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SEVEN DAYS -

If you want to know how it ends... BLACKOUT Monday, 9pm, BBC1

Piling on the moody, sinister atmosphere – and the relentless rain – to the end, this final episode of the conspiracy thriller finds Demoys with his career, his reputation and his family all on the line. What can he do now? (Right: Andrew Scott and Danny Sapani.)

If you want to know the truth about sport… FASTER, HIGHER, STRONGER Tuesday, 9.35pm, RTÉ One

Ian O’Riordan picks his way through sports ethics in this documentary which examines whether there can ever truly be a level playing field for athletes. Along the way he meets some Irish athletes trying to gain competitive advantages.

If you want a garden show with a twist... RHS TATTON PARK Wednesday, 7.30pm, BBC2

A very different kind of flower show from the likes of Chelsea, this annual event at Cheshire’s Tatton Park always throws up some pretty wacky garden designs, as well as the more familiar floral displays. The first of two reports this week (the second is on Friday).
