8PM, CH4 The prop­erty guru re­turns to help more ven­dors to make their hard-to-sell houses at­trac­tive to buy­ers. This week, he has his work cut out in the sub­urbs of Glas­gow, where one house harks back to the 1950s – and the other to the 1980s.

9PM, BBC2 The sec­ond half of Michael Wood’s sweep­ing his­tory se­ries be­gins with the Tudor pe­riod, and looks at the im­pact of the Ref­or­ma­tion and the rise of com­merce and in­dus­try – as well as rad­i­cal reli­gious ideas that would even­tu­ally send pil­grims to the New World. 9.05PM, RTÉ TWO An­other dou­ble-bill of Frank Darabont’s zom­bie drama tonight, and Shane takes charge in the first episode, as An­drea comes more and more out of her shell. Then, in the sec­ond help­ing, Her­shel sets a dead­line, and Glenn de­cides to take a stand.
