From the classroom in Neighbours to the arena in Spartacus

The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SEVEN DAYS -

On paper, Neighbours’ Libby Kennedy and Dan Fitzgerald had the potential to be one of Erinsborough’s golden couples: both were committed teachers and both were hoping to settle down after enduring tumultuous love lives. But the pair’s nuptials was troubled from the start, with vengeful ex-girlfriends and the news they could never have their own children rocking their marriage. When they tried surrogacy in an attempt to become parents, the problems they endured forced them further apart until eventually they decided to call time on their relationship. Actor Brett has since swapped Ramsay Street for Ancient Rome, with his role as Varinius in Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
