The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SEVEN DAYS -

Pete is struggling to come to terms with his son’s arrival back home. Is the aggressive young man the same boy he knew before? Probably not. But he should look on the bright side. When a soap character leaves town for a while, he or she often returns looking like they’ve had facial reconstruction. So the fact that Pete was able to clock his son when he turned up on his doorstep should be of some consolation. Neil has no such worries, as he spends the week chasing Sash.

Eddie reveals his business project to Val, who is quite proud of him despite a few misgivings. And Decco has a bit of good news after his long struggle with going straight, when he’s offered a job from a most unexpected source.

Lucy starts panicking this week when she hears that Dolores is going to talk to Laura, and she does her best to stop the truth from coming out. On Wednesday, she uses Bob to drive a wedge between Dolores and Pete. But will Pete rise to her bait?

And Charlie and Esther are getting back to normal after their honeymoon but married bliss seems to be some way off. Has the excitement already worn off, or is it just a case of being back in Carrigstown?
