The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SEVEN DAYS -

Nobody ever grieves for that long, do they? John is barely cold in the g round a nd already Moira is looking to pastures new.

On Monday, despite her attempts to get Alex and Victoria back together, she struggles with her own feelings for the young man. And the reason for this hot flush? He’s dripping wet after pouring a pint of beer over himself.

No, it’s not exactly a Mr Darcy emerging from the lake moment, but you have to be grateful for small mercies in this village.

On Tuesday, Alex moves in for a kiss, but he is left embarrassed when Moira laughs it off. On Thursday, it’s obvious she is continuing to struggle with her feelings, and when Alex calls it off for good with Victoria, it can only be a matter of time before Moira surrenders. It’s grief therapy of a sort, I suppose.

There’s also passion brewing in a kiss between Marlon and Laurel on Friday. I presume that she’ll be standing on a box when their lips meet.
