HOLLYOAKS

The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SOAP WATCH -

Is it not bad enough that the muttering and mumbling of the cast, particularly Brendan, has become so bad that you have to watch Hollyoaks with subtitles? Now the plots have become so compl icated, you’ve got more chance of unravelling the mysteries of quantum physics than you have of following them.

The gangster and prison storylines are getting daft, with so many people being double- crossed that it’s hard to keep up.

This week it’s Myra’s turn to be released from prison, and it’s not long before she’s throwing her weight about.

Meanwhile, Dodger sets about finding out the identity of his true father. If he could be somebody with cut-glass diction, I’d be very grateful.
