EASTENDERS

The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - YOUR MOVIE PLANNER -

This week Max achieves a new first when he manages to hack off both his wives at the same time. Having taken a break from cooking her family endless meals, on Monday Tanya is hell-bent on getting Kirsty out of Walford and storms over to the B&B, divorce papers in hand for Kirsty to sign. Kirsty refuses and tells Tanya all about her and Max’s kiss at Derek’s funeral, before she makes another move on her errant husband (below). On Tuesday, after revealing all about his and Kirsty’s relationship, Tanya realises she can’t trust Max and takes drastic action – although this time she only boots him out rather than burying him alive.

On Thursday Zainab and Denise are at loggerheads over the minimart regional manager’s job. You’d think they were in line to become the CEO of Microsoft the way they’re carrying on – not overseeing a bunch of backstreet convenience stores that only sell one pint of milk and one loaf a week.

Phil upsets Lola when he tells her that he is going to take Lexi on holiday so that she can spend some bonding time with Peggy. Hasn’t the child suffered enough? Lola is furious and decides to tackle Phil about his broken promises to her regarding access.

To make amends for not having kept up on the rent at Dot’s house, Cora offers Dot some shifts at the launderette. The fumes emanating from their fags must mean that any service washes leave ten times smellier than when they arrived.

On Friday Jack joins Max in the dog house. After finding out that he has been teaching Dennis how to box, Sharon storms off to join the other residents at the Tardis-like establish

ment that is the B&B.
