ends a four-year break from TV by playing Mickey Donovan (right), father of a Mr Fixit to the rich and famous of Los Angeles, in Sky Atlantic’s tough new drama Ray Donovan. Ray finds he has problems when his father, a violent criminal, is unexpectedly released from prison. Jon’s most recent smallscreen role was in 2009, playing businessman Jonas Hodges in the hit series 24 (left) alongside Kiefer Sutherland. The 74year- old, who’s father to Angelina Jolie and received an Oscar for the film Coming Home in 1979, remains best known for his performance as Joe Buck in 1969’s Midnight Cowboy.
