Mum And Dad Are Splitting Up

This new documentary film by Olly Lambert features interviews with children and their parents that offer intimate, honest – and occasionally even uplifting – insights into family break-ups.

The Guilty 9PM, UTV

This gripping three-parter plays out across two timelines – in 2008, when a little boy goes missing from home, and 2013, when his remains are found. At the centre of events is DCI Maggie Brand (Tamsin Greig), who must confront some painful truths.

10PM, CH4

Filmed in both south and northeast England, this six-part series meets the people who keep order on the doors at various drinking establishments. More social commentary than fly-on-the-wall exposé, it’s interesting, if often dispiriting.
