Af­ter re­ceiv­ing a let­ter on Mon­day, ad­vis­ing that the op­er­a­tion will take place in three weeks, on Tues­day Dex­ter is told that it has been moved to the next day. Af­ter a panic at­tack on Thurs­day, he even­tu­ally agrees to go through with it, and on Fri­day he is taken to the­atre (left).
