The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - YOUR MOVIE PLANNER -

MMany barmaids have served behind the babar of Coronation Street’s Rover’s Return, bubut few have been as memorable as RaRaquel Wolstenhulme. Before pulling pipints, she turned the head of her susupermarket boss, Curly Watts, when she scscooped the prize of Miss Bettabuys. But ththere were three people in the pair’s onagagain-off-again relationship, with Raquel never resolving her feelings for feckless bookie Des Barnes. When Curly finally made an honest woman of Raquel, their marriage was short-lived but it did produce their daughter Alice. Actress Sarah has rarely been off our screens since her stint on the cobbles, and she is back up north in her latest role as Miss Audrey in The Paradise.
