The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - BODY & SOUL -

Despite their rather unglamorous common name, ‘elephant’s ears’, bergenias are striking evergreen perennials that are great in winter and spring. They bear large, architectural leaves and pink and white flowers. Most bloom from March, but in sheltered areas some flower in February.
