The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SOAP WATCH -

The thing that worries me most about Lucy’s murder is that the killer won’t be revealed for another year. What does that tell us about Walford’s detectives? Probably the same as it told us about them when Stacey slipped under their radar after Archie’s death. More recently, poor old Alice was wrongly banged up for killing Michael, and let’s not forget Janine got away with bumping off Barry. So I’m not optimistic. On Tuesday Lauren tries to get the business back on track, while Lucy will doubtless be showing people around the ‘many mansions’ the Bible promises in God’s ‘house’. Lauren follows up an email sent in by a client on the day Lucy was killed, but who’ll she find when she meets him in a cafe on Thursday (above right)? (cue Psycho shower music.) After the mystery emailer is revealed, will Lauren find herself in hot water on Friday (cue more shower music?) And, in her truthseeking efforts, will she unwittingly put herself in danger? Max’s genetic results come back on Tuesday (don’t tell me – he’s ginger), and Sonia reveals to Tina that she hasn’t actually told Martin about the gene situation. Carol is upset on Friday because she thinks David is trying to avoid her, and he tries to make amends by buying a takeaway. Who said romance was dead? Alas, en route he bumps into Nikki, who tries to kiss him. Will he respond? And who’s watching in the shadows?
