Un­for­tu­nately a lot of people (my­self in­cluded) re­mem­ber when big bot­tles of Valpo­li­cella got served at the wrong kind of par­ties. But the re­ally good stuff has al­ways been lovely. This one is light, cher­ry­ish, fruity but tart. Very food­friendly, I’m think­ing mush­room risotto here.
