Now we’re into full-on spumante ter­ri­tory but the price tag is only par­tially ex­plained by the duty dif­fer­ence. This is a se­ri­ous wine – and not just by the gen­er­ally rather friv­o­lous stan­dards of Pros­ecco. It’s one of the very best in the re­gion, from a small, fam­ily pro­ducer and has a touch of apri­cots on the nose.
