Deca­dence in a bot­tle, this is a sweet red Mus­cat from Cal­i­for­nia, quite con­fus­ing to be­hold be­cause we don’t ex­pect red wines to be sweet un­less they are port or Banyuls. Won­der­fully fra­grant and spicy with a touch of cit­rus peel, this is a wine for blue cheese, again, or light choco­late desserts.
