Hard to be­lieve that this is the same grape as the Pinot Gri­gio that makes so much bland rub­bish. Here it has a whiff of grape­fruit and a touch of spice: is it cin­na­mon or nut­meg? I don’t know. Ripe and full of fruit so that it doesn’t come across at first quite as dry as it re­ally is.
