EASTENDERS

The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SOAP WATCH -

You know you’re getting old when the Notting Hill Carnival seems to come around just three months after the last one. And here it is again. But any excitement that Lee, Whitney and Johnny have about attending is dashed when Mick asks them to bring the carnival to the Vic. He figures that will cheer Linda up, but inevitably she remains decidedly underwhelmed, causing Mick, when he sees a cheerful Ian, to decide to come clean (cue much lowering of eyelids, hunched shoulders and not-very-convincing Godfather-style impressions).

With Rainie back on the scene, will the ‘troof’ finally come out? The fallout from the week’s events has major ramifications, resulting in Linda doing another stormingout-of-the-Vic routine. Who needs Fat Fighters? The woman works off far more calories stomping than she ever could with conventional exercise.
