Caoimhe finds Dan’s belongings left on his doorstep by Yvonne. Dan, not impressed by his staff’s intrusion, realises that Yvonne has returned her key. Robbie advises Dan to face his demons. He visits Phil at the care home again but this time he is faced with Phil’s mother. She admits she had to forgive the attacker in order to move on, which gives Dan the peace he was looking for.

Later, Dan, wracked with guilt, begs Yvonne to hear him out. Yvonne demands a full explanation but Dan still covers up the truth about Phil. Meanwhile Carol (below) notices Dan’s upset and encourages Yvonne to give him a chance, reminding her that Dan stuck by her through her trial.

Orla and Wayne make peace for the christening. Helen Thompson takes the family photos and is sympathetic towards Orla for putting up with her husband’s “personality disorder”. But when Wayne catches Orla flirting with Robbie, Orla admits she is just as guilty as him – and the new parents celebrate their interesting similarities.
