Nugan Estate Gold Label Petit Verdot

The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - FOOD & DRINK -

Petit Verdot ripens late and this is often a problem in its native Bordeaux where many a vintage is bereft of the grape (even in a good year it rarely appears in a wine at more than 5% of the total grape content). In the King Valley, it ripens every year. This version is almost black, very intense and generously oaked.
