A broken-hearted Paul goes to extreme lengths to halt Niamh and Michael’s relationship by interfering with Michael’s job prospects in Galway. When he’s confronted by Niamh’s outrage, he learns the relationship is more serious than he realised. He calls on Dermot to help him reorganise his finances in order to make Niamh fight for every cent in the upcoming separation proceedings. Poor Rachel gets caught in the crossfire.
Damien notices that something is troubling Caoimhe. He offers her a shoulder to cry on when she reveals she’s worried about becoming like her father. They grow closer as Caoimhe confides in him about her troubles.
Farrah and Renee ( below) have an emotional week with the distraught daughter feeling Renee can’t make up for lost years and that it’s better if Renee leaves. Relations get even more complicated when they visit Christy’s grave.
Judith makes plans to move in with Bob but has to deal with Renee’s presence. Bob and Judith’s relationship reaches crisis point when Bob refuses to be a replacement for Luke and Tommy and he forces Judith to confront her ghosts. Judith is left devastated when Bob ends their relationship.
