The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SOAP WATCH -

So, after just a week of listening to the evidence, and with the judge only delivering his summing-up on Friday, the jury (incredibly) come back with a speedy verdict. So, will it be a return to the prison that is Weatherfield for Peter (below), or back behind bars, where I suspect the food is a heck of a lot better than he ever got from Carla or Deirdre?

Jim also has some prison news when he announces that he’s being moved to an open one, and informs Steve that all he’s ever been trying to do is win Liz back. Oh, no, please, I beg you. Don’t keep the character going any longer – I genuinely fear for my sanity if I have to hear him speak another word.

There is more action over at the Dog and Gun, and even though it’s an even more depressing establishment than the Rovers, at least it’s brought the gorgeous Callum (Sean Ward) into our lives. With a total lack of top totty elsewhere, his arrival ha hasn’t come a moment too soon, and Ky Kylie goes back to the pub, having spent the week experiencing horrible comedowns fro from her drugs. When Callum says that he wa wants to see Max, it’s clear that Kylie is in ov over her head.

It’s wonderful to see Cilla back, but when sh she convulses in pain, will the real reason fo for her return be revealed?

Also, it’s Yasmeen’s big opening of the co community centre. Wake me up when the w whole thing is over.
