Jane piles the pres­sure on Der­mot, who has to re­sort to plead­ing with Paul to step in. She sparks the ire of Zoe (be­low, played by Lau­ren Kin­sella), who has no­ticed Der­mot’s in­creas­ingly dis­tracted state. Zoe tries to ap­proach Jane about up­set­ting Der­mot and the pair are spot­ted by Jo. Then it’s Jo’s turn to get up­set when Der­mot re­fuses to con­fide in her about what is go­ing on.

For Pete and Doug, it’s a shocker when Jackie ex­plains the real rea­son she dis­ap­peared all those years ago. Pete has sym­pa­thy for Jackie’s sit­u­a­tion, but Doug has less em­pa­thy as old feel­ings long buried be­gin to sur­face.

How about a mini-break in Car­rigstown, any­one? Charlie is taken aback by Cass’ care­free plans for their trip and be­gins to have sec­ond thoughts about the trip. Cass also ad­mits he is un­sure he is able for the ad­ven­ture and comes up with an al­ter­na­tive idea. In­stead of trav­el­ling the world, how about bring­ing the world to Car­rigstown by set­ting up a B&B?

Carol meets Dan for the first time in weeks and, dou­ble trou­ble, has to ad­mit to Eoghan that his rat­ings are low be­cause cus­tomers pre­fer other taxi driv­ers. Time for Eoghan to re­con­sider his tech­nique
