Yvonne returns with a mission – to uncover the truth about Carol and Dan. But Carol is still excited by the spark between her and Dan and they continue to flirt in front of everyone in Carrigstown.
He hasn’t previously been known for his sharp observation skills, but this week Leo Dowling is on the ball. He susses out that Carol has her eye on somebody and jokes that it’s Dan. Bingo! His little comments inadvertently heat things up between Carol and Dan. The frisson is short-lived, however, when Dan receives the call from Yvonne telling him that she will be back during the week.
A stressed-out Dermot (below left) is worrying that he will lose his accountant’s licence and blames Jo for making things worse by interfering. Meanwhile, Paul gets concerned when he learns that Dermot is being investigated for embezzling funds from a client. Jo, concerned, decides to have another word with Jane and asks her to back off for the sake of Zoe and Ben.
Mondo tries his luck once again with Kerri-Ann while Decco and Louise struggle to connect when Louise realises Decco’s idea of a night out is a few drinks in McCoy McCoy’s.s. What a charmer!
Linda continues to keep her pregnancy a secret, but the problem is that Mick has decided he wants another baby (NO! Please, no more CartEnders!). Linda seeks advice from a pregnancy website, but will she decide to have the baby?
The net finally closes in on Alfie when he returns home to find Mo and the children on the street with all their belongings. Later, having spent the night on Dean’s floor (a darn sight cleaner than the Vic ever was, I imagine), the pressure is on to find a new home. Kat returns to work, but her successful day is marred when she comes to blows with Stacey and tells her she’s no longer a part of their fairm-ly. Every cloud, and all that. Where will Stacey seek comfort in the light of this news? My guess is that men’s trousers will be involved.
Also, the charity calendars arrive, but Sonia is unhappy with her photo and tears out the page. I so don’t want to see any of these residents in the buff. Please destroy the lot, Sonia.
