Dan spends the night with Carol, but the pair are apprehensive about Yvonne’s reaction to them. Showing very little street smarts, Dan makes a kamikaze move and calls in to Vino’s to talk to Yvonne in the hope that they can be civil with each other. What was he thinking? Yvonne is not interested, of course. Later on, when she sees Dan and Carol on the street, Yvonne outs their affair in front of the lcoal residents. Life isn’t going to get easier for Dan and Carol as Yvonne reveals to Louise that things are not over yet.

Elsewhere in complicated love land, Jackie feels burdened by Pete’s secret when Dolores asks her opinion on getting Doug to be best man. Peter later arranges to meet Jackie in Vino’s to discuss the divorce, but he tells Dolores he is meeting Damien so she wouldn’t be suspicious. Lying to the wifeto-be? Never a good sign, really...

With the annual spending spree fast approaching, Mondo (pictured below) plans a trip to Belfast to sell Christmas toys. Detective John Deegan thwarts the travel plans when he sees the brake light is still broken on the van. It’s downhill from there for Mondo when Callum tells him it’ll take 24 hours to order in the replacement bulb.
