Godello is the new(ish) big thing from Spain, a grape unique to that coun­try and ca­pa­ble of re­tain­ing rapier­like acid­ity while ripen­ing to hon­eyed de­li­cious­ness. This one is straight­for­ward, very fresh, quite tart and as crisp as a frosty win­ter morn­ing.
