An un­usual Sau­vi­gnon Blanc from NZ, so much so that it might cause some puz­zle­ment in a blind tast­ing. Very el­e­gant and re­strained, sur­pris­ingly ripe and rounded in the mouth yet fresh and crisp at the fin­ish. No green goose­ber­ries here – it’s much more warm apri­cots.
