Greywacke Wild Sauvignon 2012
An unusual Sauvignon Blanc from NZ, so much so that it might cause some puzzlement in a blind tasting. Very elegant and restrained, surprisingly ripe and rounded in the mouth yet fresh and crisp at the finish. No green gooseberries here – it’s much more warm apricots.
