One of the most im­pres­sive Aus­tralian reds that I’ve tasted in a very long time, this Can­berra of­fer­ing has some­thing of the North­ern Rhône to it in that the tan­nins are very firm be­neath the swathes of ripe, pep­per, plummy fruit. What re­ally im­presses me is how it tastes very, very ex­pen­sive.
