Tah­bilk is one of Oz’s old­est winer­ies, a lovely old place in the Goul­burn Val­ley (where I met my first crocodile face to face, but that’s another story). They have al­ways been dif­fer­ent, hence a white Rhone va­ri­etal given the New World treat­ment. De­li­ciously fra­grant – gor­geous with smoked kedgeree.
