Although the 2011 vin­tage here isn’t great, this wine did very well, de­liv­er­ing plump Merkot fruit. It’s sim­ple at this stage but I reckon might de­velop some com­plex­ity af­ter two or three more years. The dif­fi­culty, for me, would be keep­ing my paws off it for that long. De­li­ciously easy to drink; think rare roast beef.
