Su­per­Valu is big on this part of Langue­doc/ Rousil­lon (think also Saint-Chinian and Min­er­vois). Pep­pery Syrah fruit, in­no­cent of all wood, pleas­antly con­cen­trated, de­cently bal­anced. Es­sen­tially, a very de­cent, fairly ba­sic but well-made red wine with a bit of oomph. Great with lentils cooked with sausage.
