WHO SAID ROMANCE WAS DEAD?

The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SOAP WATCH -

It’s Valentine’s hell for Niamh and Paul as they dance around each other. Paul tries to organise a dinner date for the evening – just don’t mention the other woman.

Damien is put out when Caoimhe (played by Aoibheann McCaul, pictured on left with Amelia) offers to work in Vino’s instead of spending her day off with him and Saoirse. Behind Caoimhe’s back, Damien asks Dean to stop giving Caoimhe so many hours. As Amelia continues to mess up in Vino’s, Caoimhe agrees to a full shift – and she’s far from impressed when she hears that Damien had words with Dean about her work hours. How will the new parents resolve the situation? Will Damien have to consider becoming a stay-at-home dad?

Romantic tensions crop up with Wayne and Orla, too. Orla is disappointed that Wayne didn’t make more of an effort for Valentine’s Day. Dolores, realising Orla is upset, loans Wayne money to bring her out for dinner. Let’s just say the romance is shortlived when Orla catches Wayne out in a lie about the garage.
