The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SOAP WATCH -

Will Denise ever make up her mind? Her life is a big question mark, especially where men are concerned. Kush (pictured, with Denise) is back in the frame after she cancels the community meeting owing to lack of support (no surprises there; would you want to listen to her banging on? Bette Midler she ain’t). They struggle to resist each other, but the moment is lost thanks to the arrival of Carmel.

Although Denise tells Kush she just wants to be friends, they go for drinks at the Vic and he makes his feelings clear. So, yet again, she has a decision to make. I wish they hadn’t got the bus door open after the crash and she was still trapped there.

Talking of people I wish would shut up, Whitney’s playing Mother Teresa again, comforting Tina when she gets emotional about Sylvie. Whitney also has the brilliant (not) plan of throwing a 1960s-themed night. The last time Sylvie and a microphone were in the same room, hearing clinics were packed for weeks afterwards, so let’s hope Whitney can persuade Bex to perform on the big night.
