AMY TURNS SUPERGRASS

The Irish Mail on Sunday - TV Week - - SOAP WATCH -

For weeks now there have been hints about Shona’s mysterious past and her links to Kylie Platt. This week, could we finally discover what her story is? When Shona learns of David’s botched attempt to kill his wife’s murderer, Gail worries she’ll go to the police, but instead Shona reveals a secret of her own.

It’s just as well really, because the Weatherfield police have been run off their feet of late, what with all the Barlows suspected of trying to do in poor old Ken. Adam confronts Tracy after he learns that Luke gave her a false alibi for the night of the attack. Then he makes the mistake of trying to wheedle information out of Tracy’s daughter Amy.

Doesn’t he know that child has the brain of a criminal mastermind? Amy phones the police with information (pictured, inset) and Adam (main image, right, with Peter) is arrested for attempted murder.

Elsewhere, the net begins to close on Sally’s troll thanks to Rosie and Sophie’s detective work. Sally Dynevor’s performance as the terrified victim has been truly outstanding.

Michelle starts work at the bistro and fits right in with the staff – she flirts, causes a scene and generally bunks off.
