In the aftermath of the blaze, Paul and Niamh worry that the cause of the fire will lead back to them. Wayne is suspicious and questions the Brennans’ whereabouts, as Niamh’s car was the cause of the fire. However, Doug (pictured, far right) tells Wayne (centre) that they will be lucky if there’s no CCTV of the incident, as the bucket of petrol could point blame towards them. Orla and Wayne decide to confront the Brennans but Paul (pictured, left) stands firm that they were nowhere near the garage when the fire broke out. Meanwhile, Niamh finds it hard to fight her guilt as Orla gets upset at the thought of Junior waking up with no mother.

Elswhere in Carrigstown, Ciaran and Katy are excited as they chat through the escape plan as the O’Briens organise a vigil for the anniversary of Katy’s disappearance. However, Renee grows annoyed at Ciaran’s lack of involvement with Farrah’s pregnancy, while Farrah gives him an ultimatum as he continues to shut her out. Katy notices that Ciaran is struggling to deal with her and the baby and starts to put a plan in place. She says she will never reveal who her captor was.
