TOYAH HAS AN EMBRYO IN THE OVEN
Convinced Adam was the one who tried to kill him, Ken sets about building bridges with the rest of his dysfunctional family. Tracy isn’t so sure and thinks Amy is the would-be murderer. Like mother, like daughter. By the end of the week a worried Tracy tells her daughter to pack a bag, as they’re going on the run.
Peter tells Toyah he needs to clear his name over the Ken incident before he can think about becoming a father again. Toyah promises to phone the clinic to put her IVF on hold, but instead she goes behind his back and has the embryos implanted. If Toyah (pictured, with her nephew Oliver and sister Leanne) gets pregnant then surely there’s an embryo mix-up at the clinic just waiting to happen?
This is also the week that things take a sinister turn for Bethany at the hands of her controlling boyfriend Nathan. Sarah and Gary try everything to get Bethany away from the creep, but only succeed in pushing the confused girl even closer to her manipulator.
It’s uncomfortable viewing and actress Lucy Fallon does a terrific job of portraying a teen desperately out of her depth.
