JOSHING FOR ATTENTION?
The idea of anyone having a proper job in Walford is, of course, ludicrous. The only thing Max ever managed to do was carry a briefcase (he never actually took anything out of it, did he?). Now, we are supposed to believe that one of his useless daughters, HH1 (Hapless Harpy 1) has actually landed a real job. On her first day at work, she’s thrown into the deep end when she joins Josh (pictured, with Lauren) in a client presentation (for what? A PowerPoint session titled The Dummies’ Guide to Photocopiers?). Will Lauren impress everyone? More to the point, will she impress Josh – and what is he really after?
Whitney gets a shock when Moose arrives to talk to her. But what has precipitated his arrival, and is there more bad news in the pipeline for Whitney? Whatever it is, she appears to be quickly over it when she finds herself opening up to Woody (yes, yet another silly name). Yes, it’s one more of the dreaded ’eart to ’earts of which the EastEnders are so fond – before said ’earts get broken, mashed up and left for dead. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, Whitney.
