Pro­fes­sor Noel Fitz­patrick, Kate Quil­ton and Steve Jones are on a mis­sion. Broad­cast­ing live from the New­cas­tle Dog & Cat Shel­ter over the next five nights, their aim is to find per­ma­nent homes for the an­i­mals liv­ing there, and at other res­cue cen­tres. The trio will be in­tro­duc­ing a ver­i­ta­ble menagerie of an­i­mals which will in­clude dogs, cats, rab­bits, par­rots, horses and pigs, and call­ing on view­ers to of­fer them the lov­ing homes they de­serve. The show con­tin­ues at 8pm ev­ery night this week.
