Trump wants to hold talks with Kim at Mar-a-Lago

WITH its Olympic-sized pool and gold bedecked rooms, Mar-a-Lago is the perfect setting for a romantic break.

But Donald Trump’s ‘Winter White House’ estate in Palm Beach, Florida – where he married Melania in 2005 – might now be the setting of his biggest political coup yet.

The $140m hotel, spa and golf complex is one of the places he and North Korean despot Kim Jong-un could hold their historic first meeting in May.

A source said: There are several locations being mentioned, including the UN and the demilitarised zone between North and South Korea, but Mar-a-Lago would be Trump’s pick.

‘It’s his favourite place in the world.’

World leaders were stunned on Friday to hear that Mr Trump and the volatile dictator would meet. It would be the first time a US president has met a leader of North Korea.
