SAY YES TO THE FACTS...

-

AN anarchist who claims he booked 863 tickets to see the Pope was not in the Army but the Reserves.

It is one of a number of contradictory statements made by Jonathan Keane of ‘Say Nope to the Pope’ which wants people to book tickets to stop others getting them.

The Mail on Sunday last week delved into the Corkman’s life. He said online that the ‘majority’ of our story was ‘lies’. But this week he admitted to us that he wasn’t in the Defence Forces, he was in the Reserves, despite saying on four occasions he was in the Defence Forces. He also denied he is an anarchist, although he told us: ‘I would be a bit of an anarchist.’

On Facebook, he denied favouring a return to Brehon Law. But last week he told Matt Cooper if they were here, ‘we would still be living a true Irish existence of equality’.
