Cowell’s TV axe for troubled Mel

SIMON Cowell’s patience with Spice Girl Mel B, 43, seems to have run out – after he helped her last year with a sevenfigure deal to judge America’s Got Talent, her seventh series.

But Mel’s lucrative contract is unlikely to be renewed – just months after she confessed to taking cocaine while working as a judge alongside the music mogul on The X Factor.

A US source said: ‘Her job is going to someone else. The axe is to be wielded.’
